i got tired of hip hop marathons on my ipod while walking to class, so i spun my click wheel around the artists section, and landed on beirut. i wonder why they call themselves that, are they like, pro beer pongers or something? anyways... yea. i mean, EVERY single one of their tracks really moves me. soundtrack to my life right there. ask me how i'm feeling? i'm feeling beirut. shit is damn deep/sad/melancholy/nostalgic/bitter/annoyed/contemplative/hopeful/naive/worried/optimistic/pessimistic it's all there. damn. that is when you know you have really found good music.
